The Undergraduate Research Centre is an initiative by the college to encourage research culture among Undergraduate students. The committee will identify students who have an inclination to pursue research initiative. It will train students to prepare research paper on social, cultural and other related issues which will add to the existing knowledge. To help them mould research abilities workshops, personal attention of trained guides and other training sessions will be organized to sharpen the skills.
Objectives:
- Promote research culture in students right at the UG level
- Enable students to improve their problem solving skills
- Promote project based learning in students
- Enable students to be more confident, with high self esteem
- Define new research-based career avenues for students
- Enable students to participate in project competitions
