Workshop on Motivation to Never Given-Up
Divekar College Of Commerce in Collaborations with Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Career Guidance and Placement Cell have conducted a Workshop on “Motivation to Never Give-Up” on 29th Jan 2020 in which Shri. Nagaprasad, Motivation speaker, Hyderabad was the chief guest. A workshop was conducted to empower the students with the right motivation, memory skills, techniques & strategies for getting excellence in life.

Workshop on MBA PGCET Entrance Exam
A workshop on MBA PGCET Entrance Exam was conducted specially for B.Com final year by the Career Guidance and Placement Cell with Collaboration with Surarna College Bangalore on 6-7-2019 at Conference Hall. The spokesperson explained about Mathematics, Reasoning, English and General Knowledge to the students. They conducted CET practice test in workshop and given first prize to Ms. Manisha who got highest marks in test.

Workshop on Personality Development Programme
A workshop on “Personality Development Programme” was organized by Career Guidance and Placement Cell and Internal Quality Assurance Cell for the B.Com and M.Com students on 4th Dec, 2018 in Conference Hall. The main objective of the Workshop was to familiarize participants with the emerging ideas and trends on how to develop personality in the 21st century contexts and to enhance their communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to function in professional and social settings effectively; to enrich the academic language skills (writing and presentation skills) for academic writing and presentations.
2017-18
Workshop on Goods and Service Tax (GST)
Divekar College of Commerce has conducted a workshop on Goods and Service Tax in collaboration with Career Guidance and Placement Cell and Internal Quality Assurance Cell on 6th March 2018 in Conference Hall. Shri. Atul Ullas Anvekar, CA was the chief guest workshop. The Chief Guest has given a brief knowledge regarding the Goods and Service Tax to the Students. He went on explaining the GST rate applicable to various products and services, the benefits of dual model of GST with is implemented in India. He further explained the tax that is subsumed by GST.
2016-17
Workshop on Hand Writing Skill
A Workshop on Handwriting Skill was conducted on 25th March 2016 in Conference hall. Shri Venkatesh Murthy, Handwriting expert, Murthy Tuturiols, Karwar was the resource person. Shri Venkatesh.M addressed the workshop on how to improved hand writing skills in childhood level and how to cultivate a habit of writing skills. He further explained the techniques used in hand writing and also explain how to impress others with the hand writing Skills.
Workshop on DARE (DEFENSE AGAINST RAPE AND EVE TEASING)
A workshop has been conducted in the month of February for girls on self-defense techniques. It was conducted by resource person, Miss Shalini Bhandari, Master Trainer-DARE, MSPL Limited Hosapete. In the wake of recurrence of instances of sexual abuse of girls across the country, the DARE group was formed to empower the girls to tackle such situations with confidence. This workshop was very much beneficial to the girls.
