2019-20
Karnatak University Single Zonal Tennis Tournament and Selection Trials for men was Conducted on 4th & 5th Oct 2019 in our college Campus. The winners (selected players) have participated in All India Inter-University Competition in Jain University, Bangalore. Since 2018-19, Divekar College of Commerce got a two time opportunity to conduct this Tournament for two days wherein various Colleges have participated in this event and got benefitted. Through its sporting events the college supports and nurtures the talents of youth; providing them with requisite infrastructure, equipment, coaching facilities and competition exposure.
2018-19
Glorifying the cutting edge of victory, Divekar College of Commerce organized it’s most highly awaited tournament. The College has created a history by conducting Karnatak University Single Zonal Tennis Tournament and Selection Trials for Men in the year 2018-19. At the forefront of the efforts by the sports department, the college has started long Tennis Tournament for the first time in Karwar district. The Tournament was conducted on 20st and 21th Oct 2018, in college campus. The winners (selected players) have participated in All India Inter-University Competition in SRM University, Tamil Nadu. Many students from various colleges were the part of that programme.
2016-17
A magnificent Sport extravaganza was organized at Divekar College of Commerce Karwar. It is the first college in Karwar Taluk to conduct Karnatak University Single Zone Handball Tournament (Men) on 18th and 19th Feb 2017. By the efforts of the department of Physical director, the College Authority arrange such an enthusiastic tournament as a part of co-curricular Activities in which all the students from various college participated with great fervor and manifested their skills with an unimpeachable finesse.
