Athletics: Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking and many more events. Divekar College has been Conducting Annual Sports Day every year in the month of March/April in track and field events. Many students have been participated in various athletics events conducted by Karnatak University.
Volley Ball: Volleyball is a popular team sport among students. During annual Sport, volleyball inter-class tournament has being conducted for both Men and Women. Our College students have been participating in volleyball Inter-collegiate tournament conducted by Karnatak University. It is located next to the Tennis Court.
Foot Ball: Football is the world’s most popular ball game in numbers of participants and spectators. Every Year Football Tournament is been conducted in college campus. A field area of football Court is 90mts length and 64mts width and it is located beside Vehicle Parking.
Tennis Courts: The College has conducted two Karnatak University single zonal tournament & selections trails for men in 2018-19 and 2019-20 in which our college team was the runners-up. It has an area of 260 Sq.mt in ground and is located next to Volleyball Court.
Handball: Divekar College is the first college to establish Handball Court in Karwar Taluk, and has also conducted a Karnatak Single Zonal Handball Tournament for Men in 2016-17.
Basketball : Divekar college have own basketball court its conducting many activities like University level, Zonal level and local level coaching activities will be conducted. Basketball has a very fast and exciting pace of play. Also, each player on the court gets to play both offense and defense and the roles of each player are only loosely defined. Much of basketball easily can be practiced (like shooting or dribbling) with one person making it easy to learn. The sport also is great for one-on-one play all the way up to 5-on-5, so you don’t need a big crowd to get a good game going.
Table Tennis: Being one of the most popular sports in colleges, table tennis is played by a large number of students in the evenings. We have a dedicated table tennis coach and a well equipped sports department to help the budding players in every way they can.
