The College accommodates around 20 postgraduate male students in its hostel. Students needing hostel accommodation should apply separately on a prescribed form (available from the College Office) immediately after finalization of their admission to the College. Admission to the College does not guarantee admission to the Hostel. Hostels in academic institutions are the epicenter of the dynamics of the campus life. It is Spread over vast area and surrounded by green cover.
College hostel Situated next to the guest house, the Hostel is a spacious structure with 1 Common room, 3 bed room, 1 kitchen room, attached bathroom and toilet. The Hostel provides residential facilities to about twenty postgraduate male students. The Common Room provides the residents recreational facilities such as Carom-board, Chess-board, newspapers and magazines to keep them on the qui vive.
Admissions are strictly on the basis of merit and the resident students are expected to maintain the spirit of amity and dignity. The guiding principle for the Divekar College community has been to uphold democratic and egalitarian values and strive towards intellectual excellence.
