The Red Ribbon is a Symbol for both Drug prevention and for the fight against AIDS. The main purpose is the education about prevention of HIV, AIDS and ARC.
Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Divekar college students have actively participated in medical camps and also visited flood affected areas. It also prepares and promotes youth to be educator within and outside the campus.
OBJECTIVES:
- To motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators and change agents by developing skills in leadership, negotiation, and team building.
- To promote voluntarily blood donation camp among youths.
- To conduct social awareness activities.
- To impart skills among youths on self-protection, negotiation, and effective group interaction.
